SEGRO secures planning permission for 310,500 sq ft development


SEGRO has secured planning permission for a 310,500 sq ft industrial and warehouse scheme in east London.

Located in Rainham, the Park Courier Road development spans 20-acres.

Pre-let opportunities are available from 95,000 to 260,970 sf ft.

Park Courtier Road will be carbon neutral, with each unit targeting an EPC A+ and BREEAM Outstanding rating.

Sustainable features will be incorporated into the scheme’s design, such as photovoltaic panels, LED lighting, and EV charging points.

Approximately 20% of the land will be set aside for safeguarded biodiverse natural habitat.

This is part of the East Plus regeneration scheme, a partnership with GLA Land and Property to deliver 1.4 million sq ft of industrial space over the boroughs of Barking and Dagenham, Havering, and Newham.

This strategy will target previously derelict or underused sites for these regeneration projects.
